Evelyn “Jean” Bogie, 89, of Moberly, passed away on September 5, 2016 at Mark Twain of Moberly. Jean was born March 2, 1927 in Moberly, MO the only child of Dewey Henson Dill and Tracy Chriss Dill. She graduated from high school in 1945. Jean was a mother and a homemaker. She worked as a telephone operator for many years before joining her husband, Thomas Dudley Bogie, Jr. in the family business where she served as the bookkeeper for Bogie Pump for over 15 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the Randolph County Historical Society. She enjoyed dancing when she was younger and in later years took up tole painting and genealogy. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include her children, Mike (Sally) Bogie of Pittsburg, PA and Rod (Debbie) Bogie of Moberly, MO; grandchildren, Kristen (Luke) Bruno of Pittsburg, PA, Chip Bogie of Chicago, IL, Dawn (Josh) Stephenson of Harrisburg, Mo and Kellie (Ben) Austene of Hallsville, MO; great grandchildren, Kelsey Brown of Columbia, MO, Kyla Brown, Brayton Stephenson, and Jaidyn Stephenson all of Harrisburg, Mo, Marissa Austene and A. J. Austene both of Hallsville, MO; great-great grandson, Aiden Ramirez of Columbia, MO. Services celebrating Jean’s life will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, MO. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Randolph County Historical Society, 223 N.
