Frank Joseph Appelgate

Retired Doctor Frank Joseph Appelgate died on January 15th, 2022, in a tragic accident in Moberly, Missouri. Dr Appelgate had resided in Moberly. He was born On March 12, 1953 in Suffern, New York. Dr Appelgate grew up in Mahwah, New Jersey and was educated at Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey. Frank then graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, School of Medicine. His family practiced medicine took him to the Bronx, New York City.

He is survived by his first wife Irma Ruth Appelgate and second Jeannie Appelgate, his children: Linda Ruth, Francesca, Michael, Jaclyn and a granddaughter Amani. Frank is also survived by his younger brothers: Kenneth and Jeffrey.

Frank enjoyed life to its fullest. Must say he delved into many activities, amongst them roller blading, off-road motor biking, moving along the ways from the East Coast to living in Missouri. Frank had a passion for Jeeps for sure. Lastly, Franks latest humer was balancing a Dorito chip off his new mustache.

Frank was a devout Roman Catholic and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 at Pathway-Millard Funeral Service with a Rosary to be said at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28th 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Additional Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday January 31, 2022 at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ. Graveside service will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Pius X Catholic Church or Moberly Knights of Columbus.
