Franklin Welch, 62, of Moberly, passed away at his home February 17, 2015.
Franklin was born March 23, 1952 in West Plains, MO to Alford William Welch and Vida Jones Welch. He grew up in the West Plains area but moved to Moberly thirty years ago. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed everything related to cars. He bought and sold cars, repaired cars, and especially liked the old classic cars. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Those preceding Franklin in death are his parents; his wife Debbie Welch, sister Louise, and brothers John and Kenneth.
He is survived by his daughters; Kristen James (Bryce Hodge), Angie Hisle (Jake Widaman), and Missy Hisle, all of Moberly; brothers James, Wayne, Larry and Leonard Welch, and sisters Viola Nickerson, Thelma Henry, Lodine Griffith and Donna Moran; four granddaughters and three grandsons.
A memorial service will be held for Franklin on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with inurnment to follow in College Mound Cemetery, College Mound, MO.
