Geneva McQuary

Geneva McQuary (Oliver) age 82, went home with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation in Moberly, MO. Geneva was born September 22, 1935 in Moberly, MO. Her parents were Robert and Jessie Oliver, who preceded her in death. Geneva worked for Reed’s Corner Café for many years and also Whitaker Nursing Home in Moberly. Geneva was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and grandmother, and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by two daughters, Denice (George) Wilson and Sandy Oliver; two sons, Michael Oliver and LaRue McQuary, all of Moberly; eleven grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by special friends, Marilyn Hayes, Jo Frances Collymore, Susie Jacobs and Tommy Jackson. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McQuary; three sisters, Freda Buckner, Joetta Dameron and Peggy Oliver; three brothers Hershel, Ershel and Eugene (Gene) Oliver as well as nieces, Rita Dameron and Kim Dameron, and nephew Tony Dameron. Services celebrating Geneva’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with visitation to be held from1:00 pm. until the time of service.
