George Seldal

George Seldal (Tricky Dicky), age 70 of Higbee, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO on March 23, 2017. He was born February 25, 1947 in Sycamore, IL to George and Nickie F. Lafary Seldal. On April 4, 1969, he married Nina Brockman in Randolph County who precedes him in death. George was a member of the Southern Randolph Christian Church in Higbee. He enjoyed growing roses and tending his flower gardens. Being outside, boating and barbeques with his family were some of his best memories. George is survived by his children, Rikki McGuire and husband Mike, Richard Seldal and Bill Seldal; grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Ames, Austin Wilson, Dylan, Payton, Cassidy, Kirkland, Kateland and Keli Seldal; six great-grandchildren; and brothers George Clarke and Jim Seldal. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, James Seldal. Services for George will be Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home followed by interment in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of service.
