Gilbert L. Bailey

Gilbert (Gib) Bailey, 87, of Clark, passed away Sunday, December 30,2018 at his residence. He was born September 21, 1931 in Cairo,Missouri to A.T. and Grace Whitehead Bailey. On June 22, 1952 he married Ossie Mae Houchins. Gib is survived by three sons Kenneth and Rosie Bailey of Clark, Terry and Donna Bailey of Cairo and Bruce and Gina Bailey of Sturgeon; two daughters Sheila and Gary Scheib of Chillicothe and Penny and Chuck Fifer of Huntsville; one sister Betty and Frank Runyon of Surgeon; eight grandchildren Tanya Owen, Curtis Bailey,Travis Bailey,Brandon Bailey,Trevor Bailey, Nikki Cross,and Angel Smith. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. Gib was predeceased in death by his parents A. T. and Grace Bailey, his wife Ossie Mae Bailey, brother Arthur M. Bailey, grandson Jerry Bailey. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 PM.
