Gladys Johnson

Gladys Virginia Johnson, 76, of Moberly, passed away May 3, 2016. She was born January 7, 1940 in Madison, Missouri to Floyd Barron and Mary Elizabeth Hunt Barron. Gladys was a resident of New Franklin for twenty plus years before returning to Moberly, where she had lived for the past thirteen years. She married Robert Johnson on August 21, 1978 and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed trying her luck at the boat in Boonville, Missouri and spending time with her family. She worked as a private home health care aide. In addition to her husband Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son Kent Summers (Tammy) of Moberly; grandchildren, Abbigayle Elizabeth Summers and William Jordan Summers both of Boonville; brothers, Gerald Barron (Donna) of St. Louis, MO area and Murriel Barron (Shirley) of Moberly; several nieces and nephews as well as other extended family and friends. Memorial service will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until time of service.
