Hannah Hackward Coulson, 62, of Higbee, Missouri, died Saturday, December 8, 2018, at her home. Hannah was born on Dec. 1, 1956, to Thomas L. Hackward, former news editor of The Moberly Monitor-Index, and Marjorie Moore Hackward. Hannah is survived by her husband, Mike Coulson; her brother, Tom W. Hackward and wife Janet, of Jacksonville; her sister, Anna Hackward Clark and husband Jim of Martin, Tennessee; her nieces Emily Clark Munoz of Boston and Breann Jensen of Higginsville, Missouri; her nephews Eric Clark of Sendai, Japan, and Trent Hackward of Blue Springs, Missouri; Others close to Hannah were Patty Durham of Higbee, step-children Abby Coulson Anderson and Kayne Coulson of Moberly, and Ryan Coulson of Phoenix, Arizona. Hannah was a graduate of Moberly High School. She attended Northeast Missouri State College in Kirksville and received a degree in education. She worked at The Moberly Monitor-Index and for many years at Columbia Daily Tribune/Publishing Company. She was a long-time employee of Walmart at the time of her death. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Homes in Moberly.
