Harold Wayne Grapes

Harold Wayne Grapes, 85 formerly of Higbee passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Harold was born to the late Charles and Opal (Magruder) Grapes in Higbee, MO. Harold married Gladys Smith on September 29, 1948 in Higbee, Mo and were married for over 63 years before she passed away. He worked as a lineman for Time Warner Cable for many years. He was a former member of the VFW and Eagles Clubs. He is survived by his sons: Charles Grapes and wife Shirley of Sorento, IL; and Johnson Wayne Grapes of Springfield, OH; daughter, Doris Thompson of Moberly, MO; sister, Louise Sumpter of Moberly, MO; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m in the Higbee City Cemetery.
