Hazel Singleton, age 92, of Moberly, MO, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab after a short illness. Hazel was born October 18, 1925 in Armstrong, MO to Ollie Singleton, Sr. and Rozzie Yancey Singleton.
Hazel attended school and graduated in Armstrong. She had a long career in nursing and retired after thirty years at Boone County Hospital.
Hazel was a loyal member of Church of Christ in Moberly.
Hazel is survived by her only child, son Ron Singleton and daughter-in-law Faye Singleton of Moberly; grandsons Ron Singleton, Jr.( Nadine) of Atlanta, GA, Shannon Lee (Tanya) of Jefferson City, MO; great grandchildren, Bryson Singleton and Gabriell Singleton of Atlanta, GA, Shannon Lee Jr. of Minnesota and Jessica and Jayden Lee of Jefferson City; honorary grandchildren Tonya, J.J., Vincent, and Nanette Mathis of Atlanta, GA; lifelong friends Lena Ann Jones and Jesse Williams of Columbia, Joyce Robinson of Moberly and J.H. Terrill of Salisbury; nieces, Debbie Moore of Moberly and Janet Singleton of Las Vegas, Clarissa McElrath of Atlanta, GA; nephew Charles Singleton of Las Vegas, numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Rozzie; brothers Carl (Buster) Graves, Ollie Jr., James and Charles Singleton; niece, Carletta Saunders, daughter-in-law Geraldine Mathis Singleton.
Services for Hazel will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment in Roanoke Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of service.
