Helen Louise Calvin, 87, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on January 27, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Missouri. Helen was born September 7, 1933, in Monroe County, Missouri, to George David and Martha (Mallory) Wilson. She worked as a nurse during her career at the Woodland Hospital, Moberly, Missouri. Helen volunteered as an Election Judge on the polls for over 20 years, she enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching game shows, visiting churches with her grandchildren, and highway hopper camping. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and her cats that she had for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Calvin in 2000; daughter, Kathryn Arrandale; and daughter-in-law, Vera Jane Calvin. Survivors include her sons: Donald Calvin and wife, Peggy of Woodbury, Minnesota, and Pete Calvin of Huntsville, Missouri; daughter, Sue Lewis and husband, Robbie of Moberly, Missouri; grandchildren: Gina Zelade of Moberly, Missouri, Andrew Calvin of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Allison Zike of Moberly, Missouri, Christopher Arrandale of Blue Jay, California, and Laura Medina of Lake Arrowhead, California; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Pastor Bob Welsh will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri.
