Helen Jane Hall

Helen Jane Hall, 86, of Higbee, Missouri, passed away on February 23, 2021, with her family by her side. Helen was born to Marvin and Kathryn (Thornton) Hudson on September 17, 1934, in Armstrong, Missouri. She was a bus driver for the Higbee School District for 20 plus years and worked for the Higbee Senior Center for 22 years. Helen followed all her grandchildren’s sporting events and never missed a game. She was a great cook and enjoyed having her family over for meals. Helen volunteered in the Foster Grandparent program through the Higbee School District from August of 2004 through August of 2014, she was a loving grandma to all. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hall; brother, George Hudson, sister, Dealia Hudson Bolles; and grandson, Jack Nathanial. Survivors include her sons: John (Jean) Hall and Jackie (Mary) Hall; daughters: Susie Hall Derboven and Dawn (Gary) Dillion all of Higbee, Missouri; grandchildren: Tony (Erika) Derboven, Ted (Tara) Dillion, Tori Dillion, Gabe (Lacey) Hall, Courtney Hall, Krysta (Jeremy) Kirkendoll, and Kathryn (Carolina) Hall-Diederich; great-grandchildren: Hailey, Raegan, Skylar, Kynna, Taya, Ty, Jayce, Weston, Landon, Emitt, Ridley, Ezra, Jayden, and Debbie. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Bill Spilman officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorials be made to the Higbee Senior Center.
