Hilda A. Torri

Hilda A. Torri, 83, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Ravenwood Terrace, Moberly, Missouri. Hilda was born June 23, 1936, in Higbee, Missouri to Russell and Jenny Grace (Sumpter) Pitney. On December 25, 1951, she married Hugo Torri. She and Hugo just celebrated 68 years of marriage. Hilda enjoyed going to auctions and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her basset hounds. She was of the Baptist faith and in October of 2017, she reaffirmed her faith in Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Joe Daiprai. Survivors include her husband, Hugo Torri of Moberly, Missouri; sister, Linda Daiprai of Moberly, Missouri; sister-in-law, Ethel Torri of Higbee, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and many friends. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly, Missouri. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Bill Spilman officiating. After services, cremation will be accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes and inurnment will take place at Higbee City Cemetery, Higbee, Missouri, at a later date.
