Ila Dean Brockman White, 84 of Moberly, passed away quietly at her home on August 25, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Ila was born in Creston, Iowa on March 29, 1937 to Wilson F. Jennings and Nellie F. Metcalf Jennings. She was a 1955 graduate of Moberly High School and she worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator for many years. On September 15, 2008, Ila married Joe W. White in Eureka Springs, AR and he survives of the home.
Ila is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George Thomas Brockman, who passed away, April 17, 2001; several brothers and sisters, Bob Jennings, Glen Jennings, Stan Jennings, Mary Crain, Elmer Boswell, Jack Boswell, Buck Jennings, Vern Jennings, Violet Neeley, Rosie Thompson and Vera Young.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph White of Moberly; son, Eric Brockman and daughter, Libby (Willie) Ingersoll all of Moberly; granddaughters, Amanda Ingersoll and Haley Ingersoll of Moberly and Sydney Brockman of Excelsior Springs; grandsons, Kagen (Ashly) Brockman and Kessler Brockman both of Excelsior Springs; great granddaughters, Skyler Ingersoll of Moberly and Aubry Brockman of Excelsior Springs; great grandsons, Oliver Smith and Valen Bowen both of Moberly and Brantley and Cash Brockman, both of Excelsior Springs; twin sister, Rene Dodge of Columbia, MO and sister, Twila Wharton of Minneapolis, MN.
A private memorial service celebrating Ila’s life will be held at North Park Baptist Church. Ila will be inurned next to George at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
