Jacqueline (Jackie) J. Haden, 82, of Moberly, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab. Jackie was born to Marston and Laura (Hedges) Haden on January 31, 1932 in Moberly, MO. She graduated from Moberly High School in 1950 and worked in both the Kansas City and St. Louis areas as an accountant. Jackie returned to Moberly when she retired. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Clayton, MO ABWA, being awarded the Clayton, MO Woman of the Year award in 1978. Jackie liked to fish and enjoyed barbequing, playing bingo and spending time with her friends especially her good friend Elouise Matthews. She was especially fond of her dog Missy and loved little children. Those preceding her in death are her parents, two sisters, a brother-in law James L. Cross, a niece, a nephew, a great niece and great nephew. She is survived by her sister, Doris Cross of Moberly; nephews, Clay Calicott of Moberly, Marc (Cari) Holman of Delaware, Michael (Kelley) Holman of Columbia, MO and Jeff Cross (Lena) of Armstrong; niece Linda Barron of Moberly, 2 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 2 great-great nephews, 5 great-great nieces, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Oakland City Cemetery in Moberly, MO. Memorial contributions in Jackie’s honor are suggested to the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674. Pathway Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
