Jacquelyn Kay Crutchfield Crandall, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, of Moberly passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at her home. She was born February 15, 1951 to Clarence Edgar and Mary Evelyn (Roberts) Crutchfield in Moberly, Missouri. Jackie married the love of her life, Philip Crandall on July 4, 1969 in Moberly, Missouri. She was a member of the Class of 1970 of Moberly High School and later graduated from Jerry Brown’s School of Cosmetology where she became a hairstylist in 1985. She worked for several salons for many years, including Jackie’s Country Clipper. She also was a consultant for Home Interior’s for several years. Jackie was a member of the Carpenter Street Baptist Church, a member of Beta-Sigma Phi Sorority, Women’s Bowling Association and a recipient of several high sales awards with Home Interiors. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Richmond Crandall; mother and father, Mary and Edgar Crutchfield; mother-in-law and father-in law, Mildred and Homer Crandall; brother-in-law, Larry Bennett; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jackie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Philip Crandall; daughter, Tonya Crandall; sister, Pat Bennett; brother, Gary Crutchfield and wife, Wendy; sister, Judi Crutchfield Burke; Sister, Marla Flood and husband Dennis; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, beloved pets, Mabel and Rocky; and her grand-puppy, Bilbo. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Clouse officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Columbia Humane Society.
