James O. Grisham

James Oran Grisham, Sr., 79, of Moberly, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.

James was born on August 9, 1942 to Oran Grisham and Pearl White Grisham in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was a jack of all trades however he worked most of his life at the Clifton Hill Garage as a mechanic. James enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling in his spare time.

He is survived by his three children, Donna Smith, Angela Harrison and James Grisham Jr. all of Moberly, MO; two brothers, Richard Grisham  of Huntsville, MO and Charles Grisham of Kokomo, IL; one sister, Marcella Hendricks of Dupo, IL;  step sons, Bobby and Carl Anglen; step daughter, Joyce Burns; grandchildren, Joseph, Dustin, Jessica, Raquel, John, Chloe, Cody, Alice, Jeremiah, Wesley, Bryan, Amanda, Eugene, Kenny, Ann and Kristina; 15 great-grandchildren, Dayton, Aiden, Sophie, Brady, Jaxon, Liam, Harrison, Agnice, Michael, Emily, Lochlan, Tennyson, Bennett, Tempest and Montgomery; several nieces and nephews;  many close friends.

James is preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Grisham; second wife, Anna Grisham; parents, Oran and Pearl Grisham; brother, Donald Sherrell; three sisters, Marie Grisham, Juanita McCoglin and Francis Overmen.

Graveside services have been scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2:00p.m.at the Clifton Hill Cemetery.
