James Hassett Littrell, 81, of Moberly, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO. Jim was born February 3, 1937 in Renick, MO to Lester Dean Littrell and Vera Opal Cleeton Littrell. In 1964 he married Janice Sudsberry at the Central Christian Church of Moberly. Jim went to work for the railroad at age 17. Working first for Wabash and later Norfolk and Southern. He was a graduate of MACC and a 50-year member of both Central Christian Church of Moberly and the Moberly Masonic Lodge. Jim enjoyed bowling, coaching little league baseball, watching sports on tv and reading westerns. He was well known in the community and will be missed by many. Jim is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his beloved wife, Janice Littrell of Moberly; children, Greg and Rhonda Littrell of Blue Springs and Sandy and James Clark of Cleveland, NC; grandchildren, Kayla Littrell of Blue Springs, Shelby Littrell of Oak Grove, Tyler Littrell and Mallori Littrell both of Blue Springs, Zac Hook of Moberly, Bailey Clark of Moberly and Michael Clark-Kitchen of Cleveland, NC; great grandchildren, Jason Littrell of Blue Springs and Nathan Hook of Stoney Point, NC; extended family and close friends. Services celebrating Jim’s life will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Masonic Rites will be observed at 1:45 p.m. immediately prior to the beginning of the service. Visitation will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Jim’s honor are suggested to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
