James Earl McReynolds

James Earl McReynolds, 90, of Clark, MO, passed away surrounded by family on November 5, 2021 at his home.

James was born on April 11, 1931 in Hale, Missouri, to Francis McReynolds and Lydia Lancaster McReynolds. He married Rosenna Kirkendoll in 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri and they shared five children.

He graduated from Hale High School.

James worked as a business manager for 30 plus years for the Moberly Correctional Center.

He was a member of the Hale Baptist Church.

His family and friends will always remember him as a father and a very hard worker. In his free time, you could find him fishing, farming, running his hound dogs, or teaching his children and grandchildren outdoor hobbies.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Michael McReynolds; sisters, Martha “Ruth” Baggs, Bertha Stephens, Naomi “Toni” Wilkinson and brother, William Elburn McReynolds.

James is survived by his four children, Mark McReynolds of Clark, MO, David and Michelle McReynolds of Clark, MO, Kathy and Scott Tutt of Clark, MO and Daniel and Andrea McReynolds, of McKenzie, TN; twelve grandchildren, Cody McReynolds of Clark, MO, Zachary McReynolds of Clark, MO, Jason Tutt of Blair, NE, Kelsey Tutt of Kirksville, MO, Emily McReynolds of Springfield, MO, Connor McReynolds, Lincoln McReynolds, Paxton McReynolds, Titus McReynolds, John-Patrick McReynolds, Finn McReynolds and Scarlett McReynolds all of McKenzie, TN; extended family and friends.

A graveside service celebrating James’ life has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hale City Cemetery in Hale, Missouri.
