LeRoy was born August 24, 1925, in Cairo, Mo to Lillie and Loyd Stuck.  He married Darline Brandow on September 9, 1950, in Moberly, Missouri.

LeRoy worked and lived in Moberly and Clark until he retired from Everlast Sporting Goods in 1989.   He was an active member and Trustee of the Carpenter Street Baptist Church.  After retirement, he farmed full-time and then moved permanently to Laurie, MO where they had a home on the Lake of the Ozarks.  While at the lake, he helped with the remodeling/construction project of the Sunrise Baptist Church.  In 1994, LeRoy and Darline became “Winter Texans,” enjoying their time in the Rio Grand Valley.  While in Texas, they attended the Baptist Church in La Feria, helping with “Kids Corner” and they became active in missionary work in Mexico.  They spent their last 18 years there working with Sonshine Ministry and continue to support them today.  As a part of the ministry, LeRoy helped with construction projects and supplying materials needed in the communities. LeRoy also enjoyed wood working and had many projects through the years.  Most recently, he spent time building cedar chests for his family, crosses and prayer boxes for family, friends, and many others.
