Janet Walsh

Janet Lynn Walsh, 69, of Moberly, MO passed away on June 15th, 2021 at Moberly Regional Medical Center with family at her side. Janet was born on March 31st, 1952 in Cahoka, IL to Robert “Bob” Gordon and Ruth (Johnston) Gordon. She married Mark Walsh on February 19th, 1974 in St. Louis, IL. Janet moved to Cairo, MO where she worked at Walmart until she became a stay-at-home mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Janet also enjoyed watching game shows and her day soaps on tv. Janet is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother and one sister as well as additional extended family. Survivors include her sons, Dennis and wife, Jessica O’Guinn and Jesse and wife, Rachel Walsh, all of Moberly; daughters, Tammy Walsh of Cairo and Angela Gansmann and significant other, Brian of St. Louis; 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Janet was laid to rest on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be shared at pathwaymemorial.com.
