Jeanette Marie Bloss, 66, of Moberly, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at her home. She was born in Kansas City on July 28, 1948, to Walter and Mary Maslak, and married Terry Dean Bloss of Moberly on September 13, 1966. Her parents and husband preceded her in death, along with two brothers, John and Walter "Butchie" Maslak, and a granddaughter, Crystal Hanlon. She is survived by three sons, Christopher Bloss (Sherry) of Columbus, Georgia; Gregory Bloss of Moberly; and Kevin Bloss (Megan) of Moberly; grandchildren Hilary, Kenley, and Carter Bloss; brothers James and Michael Maslak, and sister Mary Ann Maslak; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and many friends. Jeanette was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church and longtime employee of Moberly Public Schools. She loved living on her farm near Moberly, visiting with family and friends, and caring for her grandchildren. She has gone on to eternal life but is deeply missed from this one. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Million-Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Moberly, on Saturday at 10 a.m., with Father Philip Niekamp officiating. Luncheon hosted by the church will follow at St. Pius. Interment will be held privately.
