Jeffrey Leonard Grove

Jeffrey Leonard Grove, 68, of Monroe City, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Jeffrey was born on March 14, 1955, in Hannibal, Missouri to Harlan C. and Dorothy M. (Allen) Grove.  He married Elizabeth Chinn on January 31, 1981, in Clarence, Missouri. 

Jeff enjoyed his hobby of woodworking and especially enjoyed making items for his children and grandchildren. He was an avid supporter of youth shooting sports programs in Monroe County.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Andrew, his parents Harlan and Dorothy Grove, and mother-in-law, Virginia Chinn. 

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, of Monroe City; his sons and daughters-in-law Jarrod (Brandy Allen) Grove of Columbia, Missouri; Adam (Tracy Elliott) Grove of Monroe City, Missouri; and Nathan (Brooke Laird) Grove of Monroe City, Missouri.  Four grandchildren:  Ashlyn Grove, Zane Grove, Calvin Grove, and George Grove all of Monroe City, Missouri.
