Jerry A. Lewis, 66, of Higbee, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, at the Glasgow Gardens, Glasgow, Missouri. Jerry was born in Forest Green, Missouri, on May 12, 1953, the son of Alice Mae Lewis. He was employed at Hawthorn Factory in Glasgow, Missouri and the City of Higbee, Missouri. Jerry was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Forest Green and the AME Church in Huntsville, Missouri and later Timmons Temple COGIC, under the leadership of Elder George Wilson and Elder Timothy Fugate. He enjoyed playing cards, domino's, spinner dominos and telling jokes. Those that preceded him in death were his parents; wife; brothers: Billy, Dale and Ivan; sisters: Vickie and Linda; and special grandparents, Bruce and Phoebe Lewis. Jerry is survived by a sisters: Hazel Houston of Houston, Texas, Jacqueline Smith of Glasgow, Missouri, Billie Sue Hill of Anchorage, Alaska; brother Herbert Cason of Leavenworth, Kansas; brother-in-law, Ed Smith of Glasgow, Missouri; aunt, Helen White of Forest Green, Missouri; uncle, Jerome Lewis of Des Moines, Iowa; son, Timothy Brown of Columbia, Missouri; adopted daughter, Stacey Sharp of Moberly, Missouri; granddaughters: Lacie Sharp, Searria, Winter, and Ashland; grandson, KeShawn; 5 stepchildren; cousin, Brother George Wilson and wife Denise; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. A LIVE FACEBOOK stream of the service will be held at that time on the Million Taylor Funeral Homes Facebook page for friends and family. Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery, Higbee, Missouri under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes.
