John Edward Morgan, 53, of Fulton, passed away June 10, 2016. John was born August 5, 1962 in Rochester, Indiana to James Morgan Sr. and Deloris Fisher. On November 17, 1984 in Huntsville, MO he was united in marriage to Deborah Owings, who survives of the home.
John had spent the majority of his life in Moberly but had moved to Fulton ten years ago. He worked as a cook at the Downtown Diner in Jefferson City, within walking distance of the Capitol. He loved to tinker with things in his garage and work on cars with both of his sons. Spending time with his grandchildren was a source of great joy to him.
Those preceding John in death are his parents; brother, Jim Morgan and sister, Caroline Morgan as well as a nephew, Scott Sedore.
In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by his sons, Cody John Morgan and Zachoriah Dillion Morgan (Marrissa) all of Fulton; grandchildren, Nolan John Morgan of Waynesville, MO and Lyla Kay Hess-Morgan of Fulton, sisters, Janice Sedore (Dewey) of Moberly and Cathi Aldridge of Columbia; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of John’s life with a gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly.
