Josephine Redding, 90, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Valley View Health & Rehab. She was born July 18, 1926 in Dunaway, Missouri, a daughter of the late Ben and Mamie (Winn) Dixon. Josephine married Frank Redding and they were married for over fifty years before he preceded her in death in 1999. She retired as a school teacher after 36 years. Josephine was a lifelong member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a loving and kind women who loved her dogs, enjoyed cooking, and loved flowers. She played the piano for many years. Josephine is survived by her son, Ken Redding and wife Beth of Moberly, Missouri; sister, Virginia Bendure of Isleton, California; brother and sister-in law, Floyd and Betty Garrett of Albany, California; sister-in-law, Helen Easley of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Laura Pavicevic-Johnston of Albuquerque, New Mexico; niece, Dorothy Bartels of Moberly, Missouri; nephew, Jack McAllister of Belleville, Illinois; and niece, Linda Hossack of Belleville, Illinois. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. An Eastern Star service will be held at 6:30 p.m.. Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Million Taylor Funeral Homes with Pastor Richard Clouse officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Payshere Circle, Chicago, Illinois 60674 or the Masonic Home of Missouri, 3033 Masonic Drive, Ste.
