Judy Lee Dane

Judy Lee Dane, age 75, of Huntsville, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by her kids and grandkids on November 23, 2024, at Ravenwood Terrace in Moberly.

Judy was born on January 13, 1949, in Eldon, MO, to Virgil and Lavern Howser. She graduated from Eldon High School. She was a devoted military spouse and devout Christian woman who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She embroidered, crocheted and quilted many blankets. Judy always cooked for every family gathering and made every pie, cookie, or sweet treat requested.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Steve) Hunt, of Huntsville, MO; son, David (Tina) Dane, of Marys Home, MO; son, Joe (Lori) Dane, of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Katelyn Higginbotham, of Altus, OK, Jonathan Brockman, of Moberly, MO, Whitney Hunt, of Snohomish, WA, Paige Hilt, of Kansas City, MO, Haley Calhoon, of Jefferson City, MO, Cheyenne and Tristan Dane, of Eugene, MO, Mackenzie, Caden, and Bryce Dane, of Blue Springs, MO.

A Graveside Service celebrating Judy’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sweet Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Huntsville.
