Karen Keene

Karen Keene, 78, of Chesterfield, Missouri, formerly of Madison, Missouri, passed away on January 17, 2019 in Chesterfield, Missouri. Karen was born in Moberly, Missouri, on June 15, 1940, to Willard W. and Clara (Barcus) Keene Gritton. She is survived by sister, Willa Jean (Keene)Richards of Moberly, Missouri; brothers: Bill and Phil Keene, Greg Gritton of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Richard Gritton of St. Peters, Missouri; cousins: Pamela Burton-Rohr of St. Charles, Missouri, Lana Maness of O'Fallon, Missouri, Sherry Kersting of O'Fallon, Missouri, Gina Pruitt of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Charles Barcus of Kirkwood, Missouri, and Phil Sturgeon of Vermillion, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews and sister-in-laws. She is also pre-deceased by her sister Diana Manual and step-father Howard Gritton. Karen faced many challenges in her life but she also had many more joys in her life— the greatest of these joys was her family! She loved her family! She loved with her whole heart, forgave without question, and lived her life believing in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. May she Rest In Peace! A memorial service for Karen will be held on at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 2, 2019 at West Park Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Crooks officiating. Burial will follow at sunset cemetery in Madison,Missouri.
