Kari Shahan

Kari Diane Shahan, 40, of Moberly, passed away at her home November 6, 2017. Kari was born September 14, 1977 in Quincy, IL to Marion Sutton and Julie Wasson Sutton. She was a graduate of Moberly High School and attended Family Life Fellowship Church. Kari was blessed to be raised by her stepfather, Robert Gillaspie, since the age of four. She loved fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals. Her parent’s three Keeshonds, Bella, Bammer and Tucker were delighted to have her undivided attention. Kari is survived by her parents Robert and Julie Gillaspie; children, Jacob Lee Shahan and James Dean Shahan of Clark and their father Doyle Shahan; brothers Jeff Russell (Jennifer) Sutton of Moberly, Brian (Tammy) Sutton of Burlington, KY, Brent Sutton of Quincy, IL; aunts Peggy Swon and Polly Nicholson; uncle Jerry Gillaspie, extended family and friends. Visitation for Kari will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service at 2:00 p.m. following visitation.
