Katherine Ann Fainter

Katherine Ann Fainter, 68, of Moberly passed away at her home on Monday, December 7, 2015. She was born to the late John Thomas and Nora Mae (Goldie) Gravitt on February 23, 1947 in Moberly, Missouri. She and Elmo Fainter were married on October 16, 1964 and were married 35 years before he preceded her in death. Katherine loved working and was a Dietary aid for 22 years. Katherine loved coffee, but only if it was Folgers. She was also preceded by her brothers: Calvin and Richard Gravitt, and sister, Lisa Mae Gravitt. Survivors include: daughters: Marina Kay White, and Connie (Travis) Bue; son, Charles Thomas Fainter; brother, John Gravitt; sisters: Rose Marie (Mike) Ames, Jenny Aurberlin, Karen (Clarence) Ames, and Linda (Dick) Furgason; grandchildren: Chasity (Paul) Karl, Yuna Fainter, Jonathan (Lani) Peacock, Kayla (Jonathan) Lorton, Hayden Fainter, and Brandon Fainter; great grandchildren: Trey, Kali, Caleb, Khloe, Lexi, Izzabella, Michael, Blake, and Colin. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the funeral home.
