Katherine June McCowan

Katherine June McCowan, 89 of Moberly, Missouri died early Sunday morning at Moberly Regional Medical Center from natural causes. She was born on June 29th, 1923, in Nevada, Missouri, to Fred Franklin Norris, and Myrtle Branaman Norris. She married Robert Doyle McCowan, on February 28th, 1943. June worked for Temple Stephens Company for many years and later worked for the Hunter, Chamier, Lee, Elsberry and Brown law firm. She was also an active member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church. She also spent time volunteering for the Columbia Regional Hospital and Moberly Regional Medical Center. June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Virginia Norris, and son Gary McCowan. Surviving aside her are her brother Dr. Henry Norris of Waco, TX, daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Donal Ehrhardt of Moberly, daughter in-law Susan McCowan-Durfee and husband John Durfee of Jackson, TN.
