Katherine Pipes

Katherine Ann Pipes, 71, of Moberly, MO, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia on November 15, 2017. She was born in Elmer Missouri at home on September 6, 1946 to Eason Krawl and Leota Snow Krawl. Katherine was married to Mearl Pipes September 25, 1964 in Atlanta, MO and he preceded her in death January 24, 2012. She was a homemaker and served as a 4-H leader while her daughters were members. She belonged to a Food Club whose members participated in recipe exchanges. Katherine also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with her family. Those preceding her in death are her father, her husband, a daughter, Cynthia, brothers Leroy Krawl and Harold Krawl. She is survived by her mother Leota Krawl of Macon; children, Sharon (Nathan) Metzer, Dover, AR, Melissa (David) Duvall, Moberly, Christina Jones (Wayne Lower), Moberly, Angela (Michael) Lawrence, London, AR, Jeremy (Holly) Pipes, Moberly, Cassandra (Lee) Newcomer of Moberly; grandchildren Justin Rentfro, AR, Selena Metzer, AR, Marlana Duvall (Austin Engelkes), Christopher Duvall, Joshua Duvall, Jessica Jones, all of Moberly, Mashaela Pipes and Logan Lawrence of London, AR, multiple great-grandchildren; sisters Sharla (Russell) Riley of Atlanta, MO and Rosie Mathis of Bevier, MO. Services celebrating Katherine’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Atlanta, MO. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
