Kathryn Gail Buckler

Kathryn Gail Buckler, age 57, of Moberly, MO passed away on November 3, 2022, at Aspire Nursing and Rehab.

Kathy was born on February 23, 1965, in Moberly, MO to Virginia Carter and Gary Sumpter.

Kathy was a devoted bus driver for Westran School District for more than 27 years. She enjoyed crocheting, training dogs, hunting, and spending time with family. Her family will always remember her being strict, but kindhearted in nature.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Gary Sumpter, and stepmom, June Sumpter.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Carter, of Huntsville, MO; sons, Duane Buckler, Huntsville, MO, Dustin (Jennifer) Buckler, Rockport, TX, Allen (Belinda) McSparren, Centralia, MO, and Derik Buckler, Huntsville, MO; grandchildren, Sierah Buckler, Moberly, MO, Sheridan and John “JM” Buckler, Huntsville, MO, Asilinn, Kailinn and Ian Buckler, Rockport, TX, and Abigail, Hayden, and Sophia McSparren, Centralia, MO; brothers, Robert (Christine) Sumpter, Jefferson City, MO and Michael Hershey, Higbee, MO; sisters, Cherita (Michael) Williams, Moberly, MO, Donna (Carl) Taylor, Moberly, MO, Brenda(Craig) Garbulski, Moberly, MO and Shelly Raymam and Junior Johnson, Macon, MO.  

A memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life has been scheduled for November 21, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sweet Springs Baptist Church, Huntsville, MO.
