Katie J. Brockmeier

Katie J. Brockmeier, age 28, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away surrounded by her family on August 25, 2023 at her home.  Katie was born on October 30, 1994 in Moberly, Missouri, to Sarah (Davis) and Keith Matheis. She was united in marriage to Dustin Brockmeier on August 12, 2017 in Columbia, Missouri.

She graduated from Moberly High School in 2013 and from Moberly Area Community College in 2016 with a degree in Business.  In 2018 she accepted a position in the dental field, most recently working for Smile Dental, where she worked until her passing.  She attended Moberly Independent Holiness Church.

Katie was a social and active woman.  She enjoyed traveling, sports and spending time with her family and friends.  Her family and friends will always remember her for her unwavering kindness, support, friendship and her infectious smile. 

Katie is survived by her husband, Dustin Brockmeier; daughters, Natalie Drew Brockmeier age 4 and Viviann Kate Brockmeier age 2; parents, Sarah and Keith Matheis; sisters, Shanae, Nikki, Ashley Mac, Mariah, Stephanie, Brittany and Ashley; brothers, William and Rodney and many nieces and nephews and in-laws.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. 

Visitation will be held at Pathway-Millard Funeral Home, Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 2^nd, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Moberly Independent Holiness Church.  Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
