Kay Hanrahan, age 86, of Cairo, Missouri, passed away at her home, Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Kay was born November 5, 1937, in Fayette City, Pennsylvania to Richard and Donna Auther.
On October 6, 1956, she married Dan Hanrahan in Indianapolis, IN. She served her country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1959. She was a stay-at-home mom and loved reading, sewing and her family.
Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hanrahan, her parents, a brother, sister and two daughter in-laws.
Kay is survived by her children, Daniel Hanrahan Jr. (Carol) of Huntsville, TX, Michael (Sherri) Hanrahan of Sewell, NJ, Stephen Hanrahan of Urbandale, Iowa, Kathy Gathercole (Richard Palmer) of Sturgeon, MO, Scott Hanrahan of Prole, IA and Richard Hanrahan of Cairo, MO; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
