Keith Lisk

Keith R. Lisk, age 76, of Higbee passed away Friday, September 22, 2017. Keith was born April 17, 1941 in Oskaloosa, IA to Myerl Elton Lisk and Edna Mae Shelton Lisk. On March 17, 1961, he married Barbara Ellen Saner in Osklaoosa, IA. She precedes him in death. Keith and Barbara relocated from Peace Valley, MO five years ago to make Higbee their home. Keith worked as a machinist in West Plains for many years. He was also a mechanic who did bodywork and painting. Before he retired, he and Barb were truck drivers together. Their route took them west. After retiring, they still enjoyed travel out west to pan for gold. Keith was a very talented man. He liked to weld. Family remembers a boot rack and a pumpkin that he made out of horseshoes. Keith is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his parents and a brother, Garrett Lisk. Survivors include his children, Kenny and Jerri Lisk of St. Charles, MO, Judy and Jason Harris of Higbee, MO and James Lisk of Rio Vista, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kara, Alicia, Kelsey, Bradley, Jemma, Jessica, Jacob and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Kamryn, Brayden, Keetun, Kenyona and Bethannie; siblings, Shirley and Bob Stock of Kansas City, MO, Virignia McColum of Dalhart, TX, Walter Lisk of Kansas City, KS, Lee and Josephine Lisk of Kansas City, KS, Becky McKinney of Eddyville, KY, Bruce and Sharon Cahill of Estes, CO and Lola Cain Lisk of Levenworth, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and close friends.
