Kenneth Earl Haak passed away March 7, 2022, after a short illness. Kenny was born February 24, 1950, in Moberly, Missouri, the son of Elbert and Mildred (Major) Haak.
Kenny graduated from Moberly High School and attended Moberly Junior College He married Linda Louise Carter on June 7, 1969, and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage. Kenny retired from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad with 40+ years of service. Kenny enjoyed golf, traveling and the friendship of many.
Kenny is preceded in death by his wife Linda; his parents; sisters Judy Haak Hunt and Sharon Haak; brother Randy and other relatives.
Kenny is survived by a brother Karl; sisters Gayle Haak and Karen Haak; nieces Stacey Ingersoll, Theresa (Stephen) Hyatt, Lindsay (Matt) Overfelt, Karla Haak, Kelly (Cory) Harding; nephew Derek (Karen) Dawson; sister-in-law Carla (Denny) Graham; great nieces; great nephew and one great-great nephew whom Kenny found special.
A memorial service will be held at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO, Saturday, March 12, with a visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Missouri Humane Society (616 Big Bear Blvd., Columbia, MO. 65202) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, c/o Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959).
