Kenneth Eugene Brazeal, age 74, of Moberly, MO, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at his home.
Kenny was born on November 17, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, to Noel and Francis Brazeal. He was employed as a cable splicer at Southwestern Bell/AT&T where he worked for more than 20 years. He was a member of the North Park Baptist Church and enjoyed his time as the man who could figure out how to make anything electrical happen, especially for the Eternity House. He first married Marlene Hodge in June of 1973, in Moberly, MO. His second marriage was to Melba Sue Riley on March 20, 1987, in Moberly, MO.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, watching his grandkids play sports, Nascar, watching Mash, old westerns, and old war movies. His family and friends will remember him for always being the caretaker of any family member.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert (Sharon) Brazeal; wives, Marlene Hodge Brazeal and Melba Sue Riley Brazeal; sons, Eric Brazeal and Edward E. Anderson, Jr.; daughter, Cindy Crews; in-laws, Howard (Verlena) Riley, C.B. (Georgia) Riley, and Lester (Susan) Riley.
He is survived by his daughters, Anna (David) Herring, of Moberly, MO, and Sonya Mosher, of Moberly, MO; sister-in-law, Donna (Russell) Smashey, of Batavia, OH; grandsons, David (Aron) Herring, Jr., of Moberly, MO, Jared Herring, of Moberly, MO, Chris (Rachael) Fletcher, of Moberly, MO, Derek (Lori) Fletcher, of Lake St. Louis, MO, Jayden Mosher, of Moberly, MO; granddaughters, Laura (Jimmy) Tramontin, of Moberly, MO, Chynra Crews, of Webb city, MO; great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and all those he adopted along the way.
A memorial service celebrating Kenny’s life has been scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at North Park Baptist Church in Moberly, MO.
