Kevin Robert Neal, 59, of Moberly, MO, passed away December 13, 2017 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab. Kevin was born October 28, 1958 in Moberly to Willard Neal and Mona Rodgers Neal. He was a graduate of Moberly High School.
Kevin served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1982. Kevin played baseball as a kid and earned the nickname “Dumbo” because of his ears protruding from beneath his baseball cap. He remained a fan of baseball his entire life and was also a great music fan. Kevin enjoyed picking guitar and listening to music with his friends. He also loved watching his grandsons play their sports and spending time with them and his granddaughter.
Kevin is survived by his father, Willard Neal, Moberly; daughter, Angela Neal, Huntsville; granddaughter, Denise Neal, Moberly; grandsons, Christopher Evans and Jalin Neal both of Huntsville; brother, Steven (Kathy) Neal of Moberly; sister, Sherry Neal; extended family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by mother, Mona Neal and brother-in-law Bobby Smith.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge in Moberly, MO. Memorial contributions in Kevin’s honor are appreciated to the Moberly Midget League, P O Box 627, Moberly, MO 65270.
