Kristen M. Witmer

Kristen M Witmer, 52, of Moberly passed away February 4, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. 

Kristen was born January 2, 1973, in Tachikawa, Japan. She was a 1991 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School. On September 13, 1997, she was united in marriage in Cleona, Pennsylvania to Brian Witmer. Kristen spent her career as a phlebotomy technician. 

She was a devoted wife and mother. Kristen is known for her kindness and compassion she always showed everyone. Kris loved listening to music and riding motorcycles with her sons and husband. She was an expert at bowling, mini golf, hunting, and enjoyed riding bird scooters. She had a compelling compassion for cats. She enjoyed the company of her cats, Begerra and Salem, and her dog, Ash. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles (Jess) Rissigner; her son, Denver Lane Witmer; and by maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by her sons, Dakota (Elizabeth) Witmer and Dutch (Allyson) Witmer; her beloved husband, Brian Witmer; her mother, April Rissigner; siblings, Greg and Melissa Rissigner; her in-laws, Douglas and Darlene Witmer. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Pentecostal Church, 2197 Six Mile Lane, Moberly, MO.
