Larry Franklin Rennolds

Larry Franklin Rennolds, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. He was born February 15, 1937, in Higbee, Missouri, to Joseph Franklin Rennolds and Cleo Georgia (Starkey) Rennolds. He graduated from Higbee High School in 1955. After graduating, he joined the Army National Guard, serving 8 years as a military policeman. Larry spent most of his life in the automotive industry. He worked at Noll Motors, AB Kelly, and for the last 47 years, he worked for Thomas Motors in Moberly, Missouri. He helped start the Lion’s Club in Higbee and served as its President for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Higbee Christian Church. He enjoyed working in his shop and putting up Christmas displays each year. His favorite pastime was being with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Donna Sue Rennolds as well as his parents, Franklin and Cleo Rennolds. Larry is survived by his daughter, Cindy Schell of Higbee, Missouri; grandson, John Schell of Higbee, Missouri; great grandsons: John and Alexander Schell of Higbee, Missouri; brother, Ronald (Dixie) Rennolds of Columbia, Missouri; sister, Regina (Douglas) Worthington of Seattle, Washington; nieces: Kristina, Laura and Alana of Seattle Washington. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the Higbee Christian Church with burial to follow in the Higbee City Cemetery with full military honors under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
