Lawrence Elliot Smith

Lawrence “Larry” E. Smith, 47 of Jacksonville, Mo passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. Larry was born in San Bernardino, California on October 31, 1965. He later moved to the Belleville, Illinois area where he graduated from Belleville East High School and then attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Larry then went on to serve in the U.S Army. He attended the Family Life Fellowship in Moberly. Larry loved working with computers and his faithful companions, Tick and Little Bit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Lacina. Larry is survived by his girlfriend of five years, Pat Collins of Jacksonville, MO and daughter, Lauren. A private graveside service will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
