Lawrence E. Walch

Lawrence E. Walch, 86, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Lawrence was born to Loran R. and Frances (Murphy) Walch in Hannibal, Missouri, on March 26, 1934. He owned and operated his own trucking company for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy E. Walch, and wife, Elsie Lorna Walch. Survivors include his daughter, Christina Sue Cruse of Moberly, Missouri, step-daughters: Pamela Bakke of Overland Park, Kansas, Daphne Russell of Behlen, New Mexico, and Sheilagh Romero of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren: Rusty Strunk, Jonathan Walch, Paige L. Bakke, Allie C. Bakke, Cody Russell, and Shannon Russell; and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Akers Chapel Cemetery, Hull, Illinois, under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly, Missouri.
