Leonard Lee Fish Jr.

July 29, 1932 — June 23, 2012

Leonard Lee Fish, Jr. 79 of Moberly passed into the loving arms of his Savior on Saturday June 23, 2012 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo. He came into this life July 29, 1932 the son of Leonard Thomas and Irene LaRue Fish at Florence, Al. He married Linda Lee Silva December 13, 1952 in Iuka, Ms. and they almost attained sixty years of marriage and she survives. And to this union were born one son and two daughters and they survive. One son, William and wife Debra Fish of Huntsville, Mo., two daughters, Amy and husband Cary Marchand of Fort Meyers, Fl. and Sherri and husband Terry Sears of Moberly, Mo. Six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Shirley and husband Fred Smith of Mussel Shoals, Al. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Wallace Lee Fish and one sister, Eldaren Jones. Leonard served as an M.P. in the United States Army. He then was a Licensed Administrator and Owner of Loma Linda Nursing Home for many years. He was a member of the Missouri Health Care Association and a member of the Missouri Board of Nursing Home Administrators. He was a 32 degree Mason and member of the Huntsville Masonic Lodge and Coon Creek Shrine. A member of the Rotary Club and the Lions Club. He was a member of the Huntsville First Baptist Church. He loved golfing and fishing and took great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved being with his family. Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 26, 2012 at the Huntsville City Cemetery with Pastor Vic Comstock officiating. Family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
