Lillian Opal Embree

Lillian Opal Embree 98 of Macon, passed away December 21, 2011 at Loch Haven in Macon. Opal was born May 26, 1913 in Madison to James and Anna Maude (Mallory) Johnston. She was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church in Macon. On March 28, 1936 in Paris she married Mason Eugene Embree and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1991. She is survived by two sons Donald and Helen Embree of Clark and Keith and Peggy Embree of Madison; one daughter Sandy and Steve Blomberg of Columbia; one sister Naomi Curtright of Macon; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers. Services will be Monday December 26, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
