Linda Sue Hudson

Linda Sue Hudson, 65, formerly of Higbee passed away Wednesday, January 08, 2014 in Moberly Missouri. Linda was born to the late Roy Lee and Helen Blanche (Day) Colbert in Clarksville, Missouri on March 11, 1948. She married George Morgan Hudson and they ran Ma & Pa’s in Higbee for many years. Linda enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, and loved to dance. She was a life member of the Ladies auxiliary. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbie Grapes; brothers, Marion Foster Colbert, Raymond Clarence Colbert, and William Franklin Colbert. Linda is survived by sons: Willie White and wife Tiffany of Higbee, Richard Hudson and wife Sam of Columbia, MO; daughters: Micki Wright and husband Forrest of Higbee, Gloria Machetta (Tommy George) of Moberly; sisters: Rosie Howard of Whiteside, Sandi Buchanan of Frankford, and Helen Gunn of Elsberry; brothers: Robert Colbert of Nevada, Mike Colbert of Clarksville;4 step-sons; 6 step-daughters; 27 grandchildren; 1 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 12:00 p.m until service time at 2:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Higbee. Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery.
