Linda Ward

Linda Ward, 51, of Moberly, passed away at Moberly Regional Medical Center on April 24, 2016. Linda was born June 13, 1964 in Kennett, MO to Johnny Ward and Gwendolyn Darnell Cranford Ward. She lived in Kennett the majority of her life, attending school there, and moved to Moberly about four years ago. Linda loved caring for children and made her career working in day care. She was also quite fond of her pets. Those preceding Linda in death are her mother and a brother Johnny Leo Ward. She is survived by her father Johnny Ward; siblings Dean Ward and wife Ruth, and Judy Finley all of Moberly, Phillip Ward of Poplar Bluff; daughters Gwen Acison and husband Jeffrey of Moberly and Helen Wicklund and husband Joshua of Kennett, MO; step-daughters Jessica and Melissa Webber; grandchildren Jesse, Kaleb and Kali Finley-Acison, and Judy and Lynda Bundy; nieces Ashley Puckett, Regina Bundy, and Edna Finley; nephews Johnny Finley and Leo Jr. Ward, and great nieces Abby and Mattie Muse. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Carpenter Street Baptist Church in Moberly, MO.
