Lola “Linda” Wemhoff, 76, of Clark, Missouri, passed away surrounded by family on August 28, 2022.
Linda was born on February 26, 1946, in Centerville, IA, to Dewey and Nellie (Olmstead) Selvy. She graduated from Moulton High School in Moulton, IA. In 1983, she moved to Clark, MO, and accepted a position as Office Manager at Albert Honda. Linda was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
She married Merl Wemhoff, in September 1983, in Kirksville, MO. Linda was a socially active person who sold Scentsy, Avon and Perfectly Posh, and was top in her region for these companies. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her dog Gibson, and camping. Her family and friends will always remember her contagious laugh, unconditional love, her 4th of July Extravaganza’s, and her famous Bologna, cheese, and mayo sandwiches. Linda never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her 9 siblings, her mother and father, her in-laws, and her brother-in-law.
Linda is survived by her husband, Merl, of Clark, MO; children, Mark (Chris) Dickerson, of Oskaloosa, IA, Marty England, of Columbia, MO and Preston (Beck) Dickerson, of San Diego, CA; fur-baby, Gibson; grandchildren, Cody (Jose) and Cayla Dickerson, of Oskaloosa, IA, Haley England, of Centralia, MO, Jayce England, of Renick, MO, and Olivia and Benjamin Dickerson, of San Diego, CA; great grandchildren, Hadley, Harper, Dax, Dallis and Boland, extended family and too many close friends to list!
Inurnment will be held on September 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery 1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260. A memorial gathering will be held after the inurnment at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO.
