Machelle Scott

Machelle Yvonne Scott, 47, of Moberly passed away March 25, 2020 at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Ottumwa, IA on April 8, 1972 to Otto Parish and Norma Krouse Parish. Shelly had a heart of gold. She had a very kind and generous nature and worked in healthcare for many years before illness forced her retire early. Shelly’s favorite pastimes were watching tv and spending as much time as she could with her family. She will be greatly missed. Shelly is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donnie Anspaugh. She is survived by her husband Stephen Scott; her beloved son, Jacob Scott of Moberly; sisters, Liz Parish and partner Robert of Moberly and Becky and Ray Ralston of Brookfield; brothers, Dan Parish of Brookfield and Dennis Parish of Chillicothe; nephew, Michael Ralston of Brookfield; niece, Jennifer Sportsman of Moberly; great nephews, Mathias Ralston of Brookfield, Mathew Perkins of Springfield and Landon Jennings of Moberly; great niece, McKenzie Jennings of Moberly; extended family and many good friends. A celebration of Shelly's life will take place at a later date.
