Margaret E. Epperly, 81, of Moberly, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Loch Haven Senior Living Community in Macon, Missouri. She was born October 12, 1935 to Robert and Lillian M. (Summers) Prewitt in Moberly, Missouri. On October 14, 1955, she and Murrell Turner were married, after his passing, she later married Robert T. Epperly on August 23, 1980. Margaret was a member of the Eastern Star, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion, Eagles, and very active in the Salvation Army. She enjoyed embroidering, talking on the phone, and loved frog legs. Children brought her joy, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Murrell Turner; husband, Robert T. Epperly; son, Timothy A. Turner; grandson, Christopher Epperly; brothers: Bob Prewitt and Roy Prewitt; sisters: Connie Finley, Betty Vittitoe, and Evelyn Parker. Survivors include sons: Robert Turner and wife Deanna of Macon, Missouri, Roger Turner and wife Penny of Moberly, Missouri; daughters: Cathy Miles and husband Roy of Moberly, Missouri, Susan Turner of Moberly, Missouri, Meggie Bondy and husband Richard of Atlanta, Missouri, and step-daughter, Daphine Perkins of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers: Charlie Prewitt and Harold Prewitt both of Moberly, Missouri, sisters: Judy Jenkins of Kirksville, Missouri, and Dora Gibson of Moberly, Missouri; grandchildren: Amanda (Brian) Woods, Timothy (Elizabeth) Miles, Jeriod (Leah) Turner, David Turner, Edward Turner, Sydney Turner, Amber (Scott) Speer, Ashley (Tony) Kuse, John Bondy, Alexandria Bondy, Aaron Bondy, Rosie Perkins, and Melissa Wax; 15 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. An Eastern Star service will start at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Dalrymple officiating. Burial will follow at the Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Bevier Baptist Church or Donor’s choice.
